Daily Song Ltd is a publishing company, set up to develop and franchise the Rise and Shine show format and generate revenue from our growing catalogue of songs and videos. We think there is a future for our engaging brand of interactive entertainment.
Built into our mission is giving to good causes. We want to raise both cash and consciousness. In 2008, our small-scale pilot shows produced over 50,000 live video streams, and the podcast 16,541 audio downloads. We raised over $1000 US for Busk Aid www.buskaid.org.za, which gives music training to South African township children.
The Rise and Shine show is fun to watch and take part in. It’s genuinely fascinating as writers lay their reputation on the line, expose their writing processes to intimate scrutiny in front of cameras and microphones, and let the audience into their inspiration and their craft.
